Hybrid Working | 3 Days in London Office, 2 Days Remote

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid Writer to join our client’s team within the service sector. This hybrid role offers the chance to work on high-impact, customer-focused bids in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will play a central role in producing compelling, tailored proposals that align with client needs and demonstrate the value of our client’s services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Technical, and Finance, to coordinate, develop, and deliver high-quality submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and manage engaging, compliant, and client-focused bid content
• Lead and coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitate bid strategy meetings to clarify roles, timelines, and deliverables
• Translate complex information into clear, persuasive responses for varied audiences
• Identify strengths, risks, and differentiators to improve bid quality and success rates
• Analyse tender requirements and interpret client needs effectively
• Develop both standard and bespoke written content tailored to each opportunity
• Maintain and improve the bid content library and reusable templates
• Create supporting visuals such as organisation charts and infographics
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations when required
• Conduct client research to tailor bids and proposals strategically

 About You:

•  Proven experience as a Bid Writer in a commercial or service-focused environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
• Confident in engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business
• Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
• Experience in leading or coordinating bid teams is desirable
