Key Account Director – Guarding Security                                                          London

Salary: To £90,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits

Role Summary:

As a Key Account Director, you'll lead a high-profile portfolio within one of London’s top security businesses. You’ll build strong client relationships, drive service excellence, and deliver strategic and financial growth. Working closely with Account Management, you'll play a key role in shaping long-term success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship & Service Excellence
  • Own and manage key client relationships, acting as their senior point of contact.
  • Ensure services meet client objectives and adapt as priorities evolve.
  • Conduct regular client reviews, monitor SLAs/KPIs, and implement improvement plans.
  • Lead innovation and continuous service improvement across the portfolio.

 Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and deliver strategic plans in line with business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to drive organic growth.
  • Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support tender submissions and lead presentations when required.

 Financial Accountability 

  • Manage portfolio P&L and ensure spend aligns with budgets.
  • Control costs, monitor financial performance, and oversee debt management.
  • Produce reports and business cases as needed.

 Operational & People Management 

  • Ensure optimal staffing and support recruitment as needed.
  • Review incidents and drive operational improvements.
  • Foster succession planning and team development.
  • Uphold health, safety, and well-being standards.

 Retention & Growth 

  • Develop robust client retention strategies and maintain relationship mapping.
  • Support clients’ long-term goals while ensuring high service standards.
  • Proactively seek feedback to improve delivery and strengthen partnerships.
