Business Development Manager

Cavendish Search and Selection has been instructed to identify an experienced Business Development Manager -Security.

A fantastic opportunity to join this successful and growing Security Guarding business operating in Static Guarding, events, and additional security-related services.

A great chance for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to showcase their networking, client relationship building, Pipeline development, and ultimately closing skills.

Basic/Package

Salary - £45,000 - £65,000 basic per annum + Car/Allowance + excellent bonus + benefits

Location: Stafford or surrounding areas - Birmingham or Manchester - ideal!

What is the role:

Identification, generation, and sales conversion to meet sales and margin targets to develop the business within corporate & commercial targets.

Skill base requirements:

Essential

• A minimum of 3 years proven success and experience in a similar role (preferably service sector sales).
• Tenacious and innovative approach to self-generate leads and appointments and maximize time to develop relationships and create a sales pipeline.
• Ability to present at a high level (Support bids).
• Constant & effective target achiever and closer.
• Operational, technical, and Innovative mind to provide real customer solutions.
• PC literate with good MS Office level skills: Word. PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems.
• Smart appearance (as a brand ambassador).
• Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills with high attention to detail. Including an ability to plan and prioritise to meet timescales and deadlines.
• Keep abreast of industry and competitor intelligence.
• Close business and achieve or exceed sales target through sustainable profit.
